“The victory of the Islamic Revolution symbolizes unity within the system and the fall of the 2500-year-old monarchy; this day represents the onset of a great transformation in the world … and should not be overshadowed by political disputes,” Ghafouri-Fard told the Mehr News Agency on Saturday.
He advised all people who will participate in the Bahman 22 rallies, especially the critics, to exercise restraint and not to chant disrespectful and divisive slogans.
Ghafouri also called for a massive peaceful rally on Bahman 22 to mark the 31st anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
