Pakistani Legislator Flays US Policies against Iran

Speaking to IRNA Syed Javed Ali Shah of Pakistan Muslim League-Q said that any move to isolate Iran would fail.

“Iran is an independent state and we salute the foreign policy of Iran”, he added.

The Senator commenting on Iranian Ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) Ali Asghar Soltanieh's statement against western-influenced allegations on Iran’s nuclear program said that West is suspecting Iran because it would be very difficult for them to see a strong Muslim state as a nuclear power.

Mr. Soltanieh has criticized the unfounded US-EU allegations questioning the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear activities without presenting clear evidence.

“I fully support the stance of the Iranian envoy”, said Syed Javed Ali Shah.

Iran being the signatory of Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) can use nuclear energy for peaceful means yet the U.S. and West have been suspecting Iran’s nuclear program saying that Iran is trying to build an atomic bomb, which the Iran has strongly denied.

Tehran has repeatedly declared that it will never relinquish the legitimate nuclear rights of the Iranian nation, no matter how much pressure the West imposes on the country through sanctions.

Syed Javed Ali Shah was of the view that U.S. considers Islam as a threat and wants to curb all those Muslim states that have potential to progress independently. “They want to rule Islamic world”, he noted.

He said that every effort of Western countries to destabilize Islamic world would fail. The politician stressed the need upon the unification of Muslim community to foil evil designs. “Their (West) ultimate goal is to eliminate Muslim Ummah”, he charged.

The politician regretted that the U.S. has been conspiring against Islamic Revolution without any justification.

Expressing his opinion over the situation of Middle East and North Africa he said that they (West) are trying to hijack uprisings in the Islamic world and want to impose their handpicked leaders.

The law maker added that the U.S. has ruined the peace of world because of their aggressive polices.

He viewed every country has a right to follow an independent policy and the U.S. has no justification to intervene in the affairs of other countries.
