"The changes should take place in two dimensions, in endeavors and in analyzing all developments," Jafari said, addressing a gathering of IRGC Ground Force commanders here in Tehran Monday.

"Of course, these impending changes in forces should grow and effort should be made to start some new changes in future," Jafari noted.

The commander added that changes and reforms in different institutional and organizational aspects of the IRGC are serious and vital and should be implemented precisely and correctly.

He also called for change of approach at the management level in the IRGC.

Jafari stressed the necessity for the IRGC to have a correct analysis of developments and the Islamic Republic's status in a bid to fulfillment its missions in a better way, and reminded, "The Islamic Revolution is growing and spreading in the region and the world so rapidly that it has dealt heavy blows at its enemies and the enemies of Islam."

On Sunday, Commander of the IRGC Ground Force Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour stressed that his forces are preparing for possible future threats.

Elaborating on the IRGC ground force's plan for the current Iranian year (started on March 21), Pakpour stated, "Preparing for future and potential threats is a top priority agenda of the IRGC ground force."
