TEHRAN, April 17 (ICANA) – Iran's Intelligence Minister Heidar Moslehi has resigned from his position and has been appointed as presidential advisor in intelligence affairs.

Iran Intelligence Minister Resigns

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad accepted Moslehi resignation on Sunday.

However, in a presidential decree, Ahmadinejad appointed Moslehi as his advisor in intelligence affairs.

The Iranian president has yet to name a caretaker for the intelligence ministry.
