British MP: SNP Should Create Jobs

Darling warned 30,000 voters in the Capital's key battleground Edinburgh, Scotland, in a letter. The letter is for the voters who either have voted Lib Dem at the last election or are still "undecided."

“The SNP's priority is not jobs-it is separating Scotland from the rest of the UK. This is not an idle threat. This is now a real risk,” Darling said.

"My real fear is that if this issue - which is a distraction from what matters - is allowed to dominate Scottish politics, it will put the recovery at risk. We urgently need international and home-grown investment to create jobs. If politicians spend time debating a referendum on independence, when they should be focused on helping grow the economy, it will deter the investment we need in Scotland and it is working families who will suffer."

Patrick Harvie, Scottish Green co-convener, and Alison Johnstone, top Lothians candidate, started their last push for second votes outside the Scottish Parliament Holyrood.

However, the party said there could be a power balance by either Conservatives or Greens. The party also claimed that a strong second vote would ensure that the future parliament chooses a different path from Tory-Lib Dem coalition.

STV is to hold a final TV debate tonight at 20:30 with the four main party leaders taking part.
