One of the Cabinet's decisions declared illegal by the Parliament is the cession of the right to make decisions on oil affairs to a working group comprising the president's special representatives.

In the letters, Larijani has called for those 26 decisions to be amended.

Some of the Cabinet's decisions singled out by the Parliament as illegal concern the loading and unloading of ships in the country's ports, a plan to construct a tunnel to link the southern Iranian Qeshm Island to the mainland, the import of 85 trucks without paying attention to the required technical standards, and the establishment of townships along the border with Iraq.

Copies of Larijani's letters have also been sent to relevant authorities, including the Judiciary chief, the head of the state Audit Court and the director of the country's Inspectorate General.
