Iran, Mexico to Set up Trade Council

TEHRAN, June 13 (ICANA) – Iran and Mexico will soon set up a trade council, Chairman of Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines (ICCIM) Mohammad Nahavandian announced on Monday.

Speaking in a press conference after his participation in the World Chambers Federation (WCF) meeting in Jordan, Nahavandian briefed reporters on his activities and achievements during the event.

Nahavandian said he had met with a number of his counterparts on the sidelines of the meeting to discuss expansion of ties and cooperation.

In the same line, we had a meeting with our Mexican colleagues as well, he said.

He said that the Mexican side was much eager to set up a trade council with Iran, and added, "At the meeting, a primary agreement was held on setting up the Iran-Mexico Trade Council."
