Irangate awaits American scenarists

Member of Iran Majlis (Parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Mohammad-Karim Abedi said on Monday that the Yukiya Amano scenario was premeditated and lacked legal value, Fars News Agency reported.

Amano is scheduled to submit his new report on Iran's nuclear case to IAEA member states on November 8 which will reportedly focus on “alleged documents” and claim diversion in the country's nuclear program.

The IAEA chief's visit to Washington for talks with US officials ahead of submitting his report has cast suspicion over its objectivity and sincerity.

“The recent scenario drafted by the US is also a major scandal for the country… which claims to be superpower is openly lying and this proves the weakness of America,” he added.

The lawmaker said that if the US stops using terror against other countries, no nation would be willing to work with Washington.

“No Arab nation likes America. If they had their way, the freedom-seeking people of Bahrain, Qatar, Yemen and Saudi Arabia would have never allowed US [military] bases to be established in their countries,” he said.

Abedi emphasized that recent scenarios performed by Washington will lead to a new “Irangate.”
