Tehran, Nov 10 (ICANA) – Chairwoman of Iran's Majlis (parliament) Human Rights Committee Zohreh Elahian says the International Atomic Energy Agency's recent report on Tehran's nuclear activities has brought into sharper focus the double standards of the UN atomic body, Press TV reports.

IAEA report, sign of double standards

“Countries such as the United States have thousands of nuclear warheads and nuclear sites and the Zionist regime even tests its long range missiles that are capable of carrying a nuclear warhead; but we do not hear the international organizations talk about such issues,” Elahian told Press TV.

“Considering that no evidence has been presented in the report and the report is based on unproven hypothesis and unlikely issues, we can conclude that sanctions are imposed on Iran based on issues that have no legal credibility,” Elahian added.

IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano's latest report on Iran's nuclear activities was distributed to the 35 members of the Board of Governors on Tuesday evening, ahead of the seasonal meeting of the board, which is scheduled to be held in Vienna from November 17 to 18.

Amano's report accused Iran of conducting activities related to developing nuclear weapons before 2003, adding that these activities “may still be ongoing.”
