Cooperation between Iran and IAEA has to be reconsidered

Service : Politic
Tehran, Nov 13 (ICANA) – Iran's Majlis (parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani says that the cooperation between Iran and the IAEA has to be reconsidered because, with its latest report, the agency demonstrated that Tehran's cooperation or non-cooperation would have no impact on the IAEA agenda.

Cooperation between Iran and IAEA has to be reconsidered

Addressing the lawmakers during an open session of the parliament on Sunday, Larijani said, "The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has applied the US and Israel's directives to its latest report on Tehran's nuclear issue."

"Issues raised in the recent IAEA report, following weeks of hype, were rooted in the [policies of] the US and the Israeli regime," he added.

He further noted that the Islamic Republic considers the report by the agency's director general as an instance of enmity, he added.

The top Iranian parliamentarian added that the report has been prepared in such a “meaningless and hasty” way that even some member states of the agency described it as senseless.

The recent propaganda campaigns by the US and Israel indicate that they again seek to practice adventurism, but the well-timed warning by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei made them realize that Iran's response to the enemy's measures is so strong as to shatter them from within, Larijani stressed.
