Iran's nuclear rights nonnegotiable

The West believes that Iran's nuclear issue should go under negotiation since they intend to impose an artificial negotiation seasoned by their hues and cries on us," Falahatpisheh told FNA.

"But we believe that Iran has passed the stage of acquiring the peaceful nuclear technology and is now a country which possesses civilian nuclear technology," he added.

Falahatpisheh referred to a recent letter sent by Iran's top nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili to European Union Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton about talks between Iran and the Group 5+1 (the five permanent UN Security Council members plus Germany), and said the letter stressed that Iran is not ready to withdraw from its rights.
