CBI sanctions deal first blow to West

Western countries do not dare impose sanctions on the CBI because by so doing, they will be the first to sustain an economic blow, Naqavi said on Wednesday.

The Middle East is the primary source of oil and gas in the world and, thus, the Western countries are in dire need of communicating with the regional countries such as Iran in order to get supplied with fuel, Naqavi added.

The Iranian legislator also noted that the sanctions imposed by Western countries on the Islamic Republic in recent years have all ended in failure due to the adoption of efficient economic approaches by Iran.
