Questioning President meant to enlighten public opinions

In an interview with ICANA on Sunday, he said, "The bid serves as a tool to respond to public demand, calling for more transparency and accountability in the government."

Commenting on efforts to persuade lawmakers to withdraw their signatures from the bid, he said, "This is what President's Deputy for Parliamentary Affairs is supposed to do, but we as legislators will keep doing our job."

"Questioning president is the legitimate right of the parliament and it will never undermine president position in public opinion," he added.
