Iran enjoys “appropriate and adequate” scientific capacities and the operational systems to counter psychological ploys employed by the US in the cyberspace, Heidarpour said.
He pointed to the US efforts to influence public opinion in the cyberspace and emphasized that Washington would naturally resort to defensive and media tactics when it realizes that the time and locations are not favorable to wage battles in the Middle East.
The legislator, however, pointed out that thanks to their prudence, the Iranian nation would not allow the US and Western media to gain influence on them.
Heidarpour reiterated that Iran is fully prepared to respond to any foreign threat and possesses the capability to defend against a cyber threat or launch a cyber attack as appropriate.
