Iran ready to help African development

Iran's capabilities and accomplishments in different scientific and technological areas can be utilized in the economic and industrial development of Africa, and Iran is ready to transfer pertinent know-how to the African nations, said Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel in a meeting with Tanzanian Minister of Information, Youth, Culture and Sports Emmanuel John Nchimbi on Sunday.

The Iranian lawmaker described Africa as a great and crucial continent that has been oppressed for years under the rule of hegemonic colonial powers.

Haddad-Adel voiced satisfaction over growing Iran-Tanzania relations and underlined the need for the exchange of experience in various cultural, sport, training and artistic fields.

Emmanuel John Nchimbi, for his part, described bilateral cooperation between the two countries as positive and said that Tehran-Dar al-Salam ties should be further developed through exploiting all existing capacities.
