Ankara, Jan 13 (ICANA) – Majlis speaker along with his accompanying delegation attended Friday Prayers in mid-western town of Konya in Turkey.

Before the Friday Prayers, Ali Larijani made a pilgrimage of the Rumi shrine and then resumed his incomplete talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu in Ankara.

A group of Majlis deputies as well as officials from Foreign Ministry accompanied Majlis speaker in his visit to Turkey.

Referring to Iran, Turkey convergence in many issues, Larijani said the two countries have a heavy responsibility in establishment of stability and security in the region.

He told reporters that Konya and Rumi are symbols of proximity between the two nations of Iran and Turkey.

Larijani appreciated Davutoglu for arranging the visit and said that he had always been very interested to visit Rumi shrine and the city of Konya.

He also appreciated Turkey’s other leaders and added that he had had good and useful negotiations with them in the past two days.

Meanwhile, Larijani and Davutoglu, who had left their talks incomplete Thursday in Ankara, followed up their negotiation here in Konya.
