Politically motivated talks with West unacceptable

In an interview with ICANA on Monday, Sanayi said, "The media hype around Iran's nuclear issue proves that the Western countries are pursuing their old carrot and stick policy.

"On the one hand they announce that they are interested to continue the talks and on the other, they accuse Iranian government," he added.

He further noted that there is still no sign of constructive approach in Western government's policies toward Iran.

Referring to Iran's good will to continue the negotiations with the West, he said," The West should also avoid hostility in dealing with Iran's nuclear program and instead of politicizing the issue; it should pursue a legally acceptable approach."

"Repeating old allegations on Iran will have no result for the Western countries," he added.
