Israeli Gaza attacks aim to affect US elections

Such radical measures by Israeli officials are aimed at altering the political mood in the region, amid the recent popular uprisings in US-backed Arab states. The Israeli regime attacked Gaza with the purpose of influencing the US presidential election process, Jalali said on Sunday.

He added that the Israeli regime is currently at a weak and deteriorating position in terms of its security and international status in the region, emphasizing that Tel Aviv is willing to commit any anti-human measures to rid itself out of such conditions.

The Iranian legislator also stressed that latest Israeli crimes would inflict no damage on the Palestinian resistance, expressing confidence that Palestinian groups would firmly continue their path towards liberating the occupied lands.
