Falahatpisheh lambasts foreign interference in Syria

Falahatpisheh described dialog between the Syrian government and the opposition as the only path to resolve the crisis in the Middle Eastern country.

Speaking at the 126th Inter-Parliamentary Union Summit in the Ugandan capital of Kampala, Falahatpisheh said the ongoing unrest in Syria must be ended by the Syrians themselves and through peaceful means, including negotiations between opposition figures and government officials as well as the implementation of political and social reforms.

He added that foreign attempts to sponsor rebels and sneak arms into the Syrian soil have actually exacerbated the situation in the Arab country.
