IAEA should modify its politicized stance toward Iran

In an interview with ICANA on Wednesday, Jalali said, "Following the successful negotiations between Iran and P5+1 in Istanbul, the IAEA should avoid adopting politically motivated approaches on Iran's nuclear case."

He further emphasized that according to international laws and regulations, Iran does have the right to use nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

"Based on this, Iran's nuclear case should be withdrawn from the agenda of United Nations Security Council and return to the IAEA. This will encourage Iran to clarify ambiguities and questions related to its nuclear issue," he added.
