Iran, IAEA to discuss N-disarmament, lifting sanctions in Baghdad

"The issue of nuclear disarmament of the US and Zionist regime will be discussed during talks with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General in Tehran," Boroujerdi said on Monday.

He said Iranian nuclear officials would discuss nuclear disarmament and commitment to the article 6 of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) during negotiations with Yukiya Amano.

"Iran does not trust in the P5+1 because they refused to comply with their commitments whereas Iran has always abided by the framework of international rules, NPT and the IAEA regulations."

He added Iran would continue the path it has taken over last years if these countries refuse to fulfill their obligations on providing the required fuel for Tehran research used for 800,000 patients.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran moved towards producing 20 percent enriched fuel and providing the required fuel for Tehran research reactor."

Also regarding the possibility of Iran's trust in the group after Baghdad's talks, he said, "Confidence is two-tracked route and we can cooperate with the group as much as the P5+1 and the West build confidence for us."
