Choosing Moscow for next talks "step forward"

Boroujerdi called the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)'s recent report "positive," saying the report has approved that Iran's nuclear program is peaceful.

Iranian senior lawmaker referred to a part of the report which has discussed the 27% enrichment of uranium in Tehran, adding, "It is mentioned in the report that there is the possibility of wrong calculations and the IAEA has not considered it as an important issue as well."

Boroujerdi said that Baghdad talks following the Istanbul negotiations were a step forward and choosing Moscow for next round of talks indicates that results of the negotiations were positive.

Boroujerdi noted talks could have been stopped if there was a serious problem over talks, expressing hope the next round of talks would lead to a win-win and logical agreement.

He went on to say, "The fact that Americans want that negotiations reach a deadlock seems to be a correct analysis, but the U.S. is one out of seven countries and it cannot decide on every issue and their approach is that talks would lead to a result."
