Speaking to reporters, said that he "is not optimistic" about the outcomes of the negotiations given the current trend of the nuclear talks.
"It seems that the (West's) nuclear negotiators are not so much after resolving problems," Esmaeili said, adding that efforts are underway behind the scene to hinder fruitful negotiations.
"Given the status quo and the current trend, it is unlikely that they ever recognize Iran's inalienable rights," the lawmaker said, and stressed the necessity of Iran's resistance against western negotiators' ambitious demands.
He pointed to Iran's all-out cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors, but at the same time underscored that "Iran will not wait for others to decide about issues which are related to Iran."
