Tehran, July 15, (ICANA) – Member of Iran's Majlis Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Safar Naimi-Raz has slammed as baseless and unfounded the US allegation that a Chinese and an Iranian national sought to send uranium-enrichment related material to Iran from the United States.

“These allegations are baseless and without proof. In fact, the US is horrified of the spread of Iran's spiritual influence among Muslim nations,” said Naimi-Raz.

The Iranian lawmaker said the US anti-Iran allegations are not new, adding that, “The main objective of the global arrogance is to reduce Iran's control over regional developments and to increase their dominance on the Middle East equations.”

Naimi-Raz said these allegations would have no bearing on the process of nuclear talks between Iran and the P5+1 - Britain, China, France, Russia and the United States plus Germany - as “both sides want the issue to come to a conclusion.”
