NAM summit will muddle up Western equations on Iran

“The Non-Aligned Movement in Iran will symbolize the Islamic Republic’s strength and successful diplomacy in the international arena,” Abed Fattahi said on Thursday.

The 16th NAM summit will be held under the circumstances that the West still occupies Muslim countries and imposes “unwanted wars” under various pretexts, he added.

He noted that the aggressions of Western powers, particularly the US, would be among the main issues of the NAM summit.

Fattahi stated that participants in the Tehran summit would also discuss the Israeli regime’s crimes against the Palestinian people, stressing that Tel Aviv is currently faced with the most critical situation after the occupation of Palestinian territories and would suffer the worst state of “political isolation.”

The legislator emphasized that the presence of 120 countries in the summit would spread the message of the Islamic Awakening and improve Iran's status.
