Tehran NAM meeting isolates Zionist regime

The Zionist regime is now trying to get out of this isolation, said Larijani talking to IRNA in the holy city of Qom.

Despite the western will, Iran is now more influential in both world and region, said the Majlis speaker, adding Iran's regional influence and power have made the enemies angry.

Larijani noted that the West's concerns about the Islamic Awakening Movement and the regional developments have been increased.

He then referred to the presence of the member states of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in the Tehran meeting and described the event as a political success for Iran.

He then underlined the need for making reforms in the United Nations structure, reiterating that the big powers will create obstacles in the way of making reforms in the UN structure, as they are doing so while dealing with Iran's peaceful nuclear program.

Referring to the Zionist regime and the West strategy regarding Iran, Larijani said they want to reduce the Tehran's regional influence.

He further criticized the West's strategy on Syria aimed at creating more tensions in that country.

The Majlis speaker said Iran rejects any military solution to the Syrian problem.
