Majlis blocks import of goods from anti-Iran companies

In an interview with ICANA on Saturday, Rahmani said, “According to the Constitution and Iran’s trade laws and regulations, any action preventing Iranian nationals from doing foreign investment should be faced with proper penalties and the Majlis will certainly fulfill its legal duties in this regard.”

The representative of Tabriz in the Iranian parliament further said, “A list of the companies imposing sanctions on Iran is being prepared, according to which the import of goods from them will be stopped up to 30 years.”

“The sanctions are politically motivated and they will not last forever. Thus the bill is aimed at making the companies think about their long-term benefit rather than follow the policies adopted by the Western governments,” he concluded.
