Iran prepared to resolve nuclear ambiguities

“The Islamic Republic, as it has declared within the framework of [the talks with] the P5+1, is ready to resolve the ambiguities, and reach a final agreement and a point agreeable to both parties,” Boroujerdi said on Friday.

Iran will take such measures, “provided that some of the members of the group (the P5+1) that hold a political view influenced by US policies, change their views and take action within the legal framework,” he added.

Boroujerdi censured the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)’s Friday resolution against Iran, saying, “From the outset, we believed that the issued resolutions are political and not technical and legal.”

“For that reason, Iran defined a modality and resolved the ambiguities under the tenure of [former IAEA chief] Mohamed ElBaradei, but based on a policy to continue pressures against the Islamic Republic, the Americans started making excuses beyond the agreement and that still continues,” the Iranian lawmaker pointed out.

“The Islamic Republic is the only country which has on numerous occasions opened the doors of its nuclear facilities even to journalists and this indicates Iran’s utmost good will in its peaceful nuclear activities,” Boroujerdi noted.
