Speaking to Sudanese Vice Speaker of the National Assembly, Hajo Gism al Sid, here on Sunday, Larijani said the sanctions imposed by western states against the Islamic Republic of Iran and Sudan are preplanned with certain political objective.

He said the people and officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran have strong bonds with Muslim people of Sudan and stress expansion of economic, political and cultural relations.

He underlined importance of promoting parliamentary relations between the two countries and said expansion of parliamentary relations would prepare the ground for further acquaintance of people of the two countries with each other and for expansion of cordial bilateral relations in all spheres.

The Sudanese parliamentarian, for his part, said abundant natural resources in Sudan and high technical capabilities of Iran can expedite expansion of economic relations between the two countries.

Briefing Larijani on the latest developments in the region and his country, the Sudanese official submitted the Sudanese speaker’s message to Larijani inviting him to attend upcoming conference of Islamic countries in Sudan.
