Victory in Gaza a great capacity for Palestine, Lebanon

In the meeting in Marriott Hotel in Beirut with Palestinian groups in Lebanon, Larijani said that the 33-day war was a great victory for Lebanese resistance, adding that the 22-day war was also a big victory.

The Majlis speaker said that the Zionist regime, with its recent move in attacking against Gaza, intended to get out from isolation, but the Palestinians, with their resisting morale and with their own arsenal power, turned the war into a tsunami of disgrace for the enemy.

Larijani continued that the Zionist regime should know that they are facing with a huge willpower and that the Iranian nation will always be with the resistance.

He told representatives of different Palestinian groups in Lebanon that they had a role in this victory and wished success for them and the Palestinians.

Larijani added, 'We told Americans that if they have never heard Muslim nations' voice in the region, after the Gaza war, they have to listen to the voice, because the route and direction of victory is now clear.'

He said that resistance groups should keep their unity and should know that compromise plans would not have any success.

Representatives of the Palestinian groups called Iran's support for Palestine very important and effective and expressed hope for continuation of this policy.

Ali Larijani, heading a parliamentary delegation arrived in Beirut from Damascus on Friday afternoon.

He is to meet with his Lebanese counterpart Nabih Berri and then participate in a press conference.
