IAEA's attitude towards Iranian nuclear program, political

Concerning IAEA Director General Yukyia Amano's call for continuation of talks between Iran and the agency, he said, "IAEA must take a professional approach to the program."

Larijani said Iran is not optimistic about approaches of the agency and G5+1 to the talks "Because they are misusing the talks as a means which we believe will damage the agency's creditability."

He denounced the agency's approach and said IAEA once in a while calls for continuation of nuclear talks with Iran while at the same time the US imposes new rounds of sanctions against the country based on the negative points in IAEA reports.

The Majlis Speaker said IAEA and G5+1 must take Iran's nuclear case seriously and refrain from taking double standard attitudes towards it, because such moves would bear negative results.

Larijani said in fact Iran is not against proposals of Amano and G5+1 for talks, but believes the talks should take place on the right track to bear positive results.
