Tehran, Dec 3, (ICANA) - Deputy Chairman of Iran's Majlis Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy Mansour Haqiqatpour says Iran’s sovereignty over the three islands of the Greater Tunb, the Lesser Tunb, and Abu Musa in the Persian Gulf is non-negotiable.

Iran sovereignty over Persian Gulf islands, non-negotiable

“The three islands are inseparable parts of Iran and not negotiable,” Haqiqatpour said on Monday.

However, the United Arab Emirates has repeatedly laid baseless claims to the islands.

The islands of the Greater Tunb, the Lesser Tunb, and Abu Musa have historically been part of Iran, proof of which can be found in and corroborated by countless historical, legal, and geographical documents in Iran and other parts of the world.
