Tehran, Dec 4, (ICANA) – Head of Majlis Research Center Kazem Jalali said on Monday that Iran is ready to transfer its experiences to Egyptian legal institutions particularly the country's parliament.

Jalali made the remarks in a meeting with Head of Egyptian Interest Section in Iran Khalid Ibrahim Emarah.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to exchange scientific and expert delegates with Egypt, Jalali said.

Given deep-rooted historical, cultural and religious affinities between the two nations, he called for expansion of friendly relations between the two countries.

Iran and Egypt with rich cultures and civilizations can play a key role in the Middle East region in order to promote peace and security and pave the grounds for forging unity among world Muslims, Jalali said.

Expansion of parliamentary cooperation helps broaden economic, political and cultural relations between the two nations, he said.

Egypt's revolution is regarded as a big achievement for all nations in the region, he said.

Jalali hoped to witness restoration of stability and tranquility to Egypt.

The Egyptian official, for his part said cooperation between the two sides' officials would help deepen bilateral ties between the two countries.

He lauded the Iranian officials' support for Egyptian revolution and said in fact the Islamic Republic of Iran and Egypt are two wings of Islamic civilization in eastern and western sides of the Middle East region.

He hoped to witness further expansion of political, economic, cultural and parliamentary relations and cooperation between Iran and Egypt.
