Heidarpour raps UNSC for political attitude towards N. Korea's rocket test

Heidarpour said the UN Security Council's resolution showed that the council's behavior and decision was political, and reminded that all the world states are entitled to the right to boost their deterrent power.

"No county can be deprived of acquiring the missile capability under the excuse of a possible (future) use of the long-range rocket for delivering nuclear warheads," he said.

The lawmaker said the UNSC's use of coercive measures to exert pressure on other countries has become a routine attitude of the world body, and noted, "There is only one way for the UNSC to prove its honesty and that is the council's practical measure against the Zionist regime of Israel's nuclear arms."
