Qatar is trying to bribe Assad

In an interview with ICANA on Wednesday, Sheikholesalm said, “Certain Arab states, especially Qatar and Saudi Arabia, in line with western countries’ policies are ready to spend billions of dollars to topple the legitimate government of Syria.”

“The Syrian people continue to support their president and the policies adopted by reactionary Arabs have all been in vain,” he said.

“The only reason for Assad’s admirable endurance is the popular support behind him, otherwise he should have been toppled many times in face of huge propaganda by the West and some Arab governments,” he added.
