Principlist hopefuls need unity more than ever

“With the recent registrations of certain hopefuls such as Mr. Hashemi Rafasnjani and Mr. Rahim-Mashaei for the election, we feel the necessity to reach a consensus more than before,” Haddad Adel said.

He went on to say that “principlists need to be united more than ever before, and they are more likely to be united now.”

The principlist hopeful also said that due to the diversity of hopefuls among the principlist camp, the Collation of Three “has agreed to reach a consensus on who should run for president.”

He also predicted that by the time the Guardian Council announces the final list of candidates, some hopefuls might have dropped out in favor of other rivals.

“Other hopefuls may drop out of the race before the final list is announced as some of them have already done so since Saturday and the same may happen during the next two or three days,” Haddad Adel stated.
