Software embargo on Iran harms West's interests

In an interview with ICANA on Tuesday, Dastgheib said, "The recent accusations on Iran regarding its alleged cyber attacks on some U.S. companies are new tactics by the United State to restrict Iran's access to the technological advancements."

"However, Iran has already attained the capability to update its computer software despite West's hostile moves," he added.

The continued wave of sanctions on Iran has made Iranians capable of finding new methods to update their software used in the computer networks," he added.
