Iran worried about Egypt but has no interference

In an interview with ICANA, Boroujerdi said that commenting on the developments in Egypt by Iranian officials is by no means interference as it is regarded as a common move at the international level.

He further rejected Egyptian foreign minister’s recent allegations on Iran and described them as sign of the government’s incapability to control its internal affairs and is aimed at diverting the public opinions from the realities on the ground.

“Iran is worried about the turbulent situation in Egypt and we believe that the revolutionary nation deserves to weather the crisis as soon as possible and stability is restored,” he added.
