American government is obliged to prevent new nuclear sanctions against Iran

Islamic Consultative Assembly News Agency - Abbas Araghchi an Iranian politician and career diplomat who is Deputy for Legal and International Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran about delay in delivery of Boeing and Airbus aircraft to Iran says: the delay in delivering aircrafts to Iran is regarding to the negotiations between Iran Air and Airbus and Boeing; negotiations which are now underway.

Araghchi who is serving as Iran's chief nuclear negotiator in talks with the P5+1, declares: Airbus and Boeing have requested the United States Department of the Treasury to get permission to sell; according to the JCPOA the American government is obliged to give the permissions due to those are as part of the primary sanctions.

Fresh skepticism springs up about the fate of a deal which Boeing has signed to provide Iran Air with over 80 jetliners after the US aircraft maker says none will be delivered this year.

Since Boeing announced a tentative deal to sell jetliners to Iran in June, US lawmakers have been trying to block it. Under the agreement, Boeing must supply Iran some 80 passenger jets worth $25 billion at price lists.
