Transferring heavy water to Oman is a technical measure not a political one

Islamic Consultative Assembly News Agency – Hishmatollah Falahat Pisha referring to transferring heavy water to a third country says this is a technical measure not a political one.

"According to the declaration which Salehi (head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran) and Kamalwandi (spokesperson of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran) presented, the level of heavy water storage has been more than the maximum allowable pointed in BARJAM/JCPOA and the domestic and foreign regulatory bodies have pointed to this; so some of it transferred to Oman" said Falahat Pisha who is representative in the current period of Islamic Consultative Assembly.

"In the text of the nuclear agreement, the level of production and storage of the heavy water is mentioned transparently therefore we should not count on IAEA's notification as a political measure but it is purely a technical action", he continued.

Declared Falahat on transferring the heavy water to a third country as: Oman is a neutral country so we could store our extra heavy water there and sell it to the countries which are asking.
