The Australian Government's inhuman treatment with Iranian citizens in Manus camp \ the need to summon of the Australian ambassador

Islamic Consultative Assembly News Agency – Qolam Ali Jaffar Zadeh Eimen Abadi the moderate MP who is representing Rasht strongly condemned the inhuman approach of Australia in behaving refugees, "The Iranian citizens all around the world are under spiritual and material supportive cover of Islamic Republic of Iran"

"The pretender states which claim to defend freedom of expression and human rights, up to the present time have been silent and quiet in the case of torture, imprisonment and inhumane acts of Australian Government against immigrants! This is very worrying and oppressive", said the politician and war veteran who is member of the Parliament of Iran representing Rasht electoral district.

Sad to say, some of our trapped Iranian compatriots were beaten and mayhem in Manus camp in Papua New Guinea on Christmas Eve; we were notified that the beaten persons have been deprived of Health Care despite of numerous injuries.

The Manus Regional Processing Centre is one of only 2 offshore Australian immigration detention facilities, located on Los Negros Island in Manus Province, Papua New Guinea, operated by Broadspectrum (formerly known as Transfield Services) on behalf of the Australian government. The centre is located on the PNG Navy Base Lombrum (previously a Royal Australian Navy base).

As of 31 May 2016, there were 847 asylum seekers held in the processing centre.

Manus Island is part of Manus Province in northern Papua New Guinea and is the largest of the Admiralty Islands. It is the fifth-largest island in Papua New Guinea with an area of 2,100 km2(810 sq mi) measuring around 100 km × 30 km.

Detainees at a refugee camp on Manus Island are blaming the Australian government for the death of a 27-year-old Sudanese refugee on Christmas Eve.

Faysal Ishak Ahmed died in Brisbane, Queensland, on December 24 after being airlifted from Australia's detention center in Papua New Guina, authorities said in a statement.

It is the fourth death of a refugee or asylum seeker in Australia's offshore detention centers.

During a memorial service for Ahmed, held on Manus Island on Christmas Day, refugees at the camp hung up a banner saying his death was predictable and that he had been murdered.
