Islamic Consultative Assembly News Agency – "Positive and constructive meeting with members of the Economic Commission was held on the activities of free economic zones and a report of the activities was presented to the members of the Commission", said Akbar Torkan an Iranian mechanical engineer and politician who is the current CEO of Iran's Construction Engineering Organization and also President Hassan Rouhani's chief adviser since 5 August 2013.

Dahe-ye Fajr i.e. dawning of new age, is a ten-day celebration of Ruhollah Khomeini's return to Iran in 1979. The annual celebrations last from 1 to 11 February.

"In Fajr decade of the current year, some projects will be opened in free zones; the projects will contribute to the development of free zones and the economy of the whole country: Caspian port in commercial – industrial free zone of Anzali (one of the seven Industrial - Commercial free zones in Iran), Maku airport in Maku free zone (the other Industrial - Commercial free zone of Iran) and Hendurabi airport in Hendurabi island; these are steps towards strengthening the infrastructure and economic development" continued Torkan who was the Minister of Defense and Minister of Roads and Transportation in the government headed by President by Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.

Torkan is one of the trusted members of Rohani’s inner circle. Torkan is known for his liberal views on a market economy, and that he served as the deputy director of Rouhani's presidential campaign.

Bandar-e Anzali is a city in Guilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 109,687, in 32,424 families. Bandar-e Anzali is a harbour town on the Caspian Sea, close to Rasht.

Maku is a city in the West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 41,865, in 10,428 families. It is situated 22 kilometres from the Turkish border in a mountain gorge at an altitude of 1634 metres.

Hendurabi or Hendorabi is an Iranian island in the Persian Gulf. Its name is derived from the Persian word andar-abi meaning "Inside the waters". It is located in Hormozgan Province, to the west of Kish Island and due south of Bastak.
