Iran conditions for conducting Hajj rituals

Tehran, Feb 13, ICANA - Spokesman for the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Majlis, Seyyed Hossein Naqavi Hosseini said here on Monday that Iran has two conditions for conducting Hajj rituals.

Talking to ICANA, the lawmaker underscored that the Iranian conditions would be reviewed during the talks to be held between Iran and Saudi Arabia on Feb 23.

Commenting on Saudi rulers' mismanagement of Hajj pilgrimage rituals in the wake of the Mina tragedy which claimed a large number of Muslims, Naqavi Hosseini said Iran do not want such bitter incident once again happen for its citizens.

Commenting on sexual abusing of two Iranian teenagers by the Saudi police in Jeddah Airport, he added the social dignity of Iranian pilgrims should be safeguarded in Saudi Arabia.

Touching upon the Iranian pilgrims’ blood money, the lawmaker reiterated that the case should be followed up.

He added Iran is ready to resume Iranians' participation in Hajj pilgrimage if Saudi Arabia accepts Tehran’s conditions which will ensure the dignity and security of the Iranian pilgrims.
