Iranian Jewish lawmaker slams Netanyahu anti-Iran remarks

Speaking in Majlis open session, Iranian Jewish lawmaker, Siamak Mareh-Sedq said for decades the racist and fascist ideas of Zionist leaders have disgraced them.

The Jewish freedom-seekers have always voiced their hatred toward Zionist officials’ behavior, but their voices have remained unheard due to the dominance of Zionist regime on mass media globally.

On March 13, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in reaction to recent anti-Iranian remarks of Netanyahu said that Iranians have saved Jews three times in the history.

Zionist regime premier in its recent trip to Russia had said that Iranians made an effort to annihilate Jews 2500 years ago, but they failed to do so.

In a twitter message, Zarif said, “To sell bigoted lies against a nation which has saved Jews 3 times, Netanyahu resorting to fake history & falsifying Torah. Force of habit.”

In an attachment to the post, Zarif wrote “Once again Benjamin Netanyahu not only distorts the realities of today, but also of the past — including Jewish scripture. It is truly regrettable that bigotry gets to the point of making allegations against an entire nation which has saved the Jews three times in its history.”

“The Book of Esther tells of how Xerxes I saved Jews from a plot hatched by Haman the Agagite, which is marked on this very day; again, during the time of Cyrus the Great, an Iranian king saved the Jews — this time from captivity in Babylon; and during the Second World War, when Jews were being slaughtered in Europe, Iran gladly took them in,” Iranian foreign minister wrote.

Earlier on Sunday, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said that Netanyahu had both misreported Iran’s pre-Islam history and inverted facts. “Apparently, neither he is acquainted with history, nor he has read the Torah,” said Larijani.
