Falahatpishe: US behind massacre of 170,000 Iranians in chemical attack

Iranian Majlis member and National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Heshmatollah Falahatpishe made the remarks in an interview with ICANA.

Touching upon the western countries double standards towards Iraq chemical attack in Sardasht in northwester Iran during Iraq’s eight-year imposed war against the Islamic Republic, the lawmaker said some 350 western and eastern companies from 36 countries have equipped former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein with the chemical weaponries of which 70 of them were American.

The American companies have role in butchering 170, 000 Iranians including 38,000 armed forces and 135,000 civilians in chemical attack during Iraq’s eight-year imposed war against Iran, the lawmaker said.

He added even a small piece of the chemical weapons was not produced in Iraq and the American and European countries have equipped Saddam Hussein with these lethal weaponries.

Referring the US recent missile attack in Syria, the American government has invaded this Arab country before reaching the right conclusions about the real cause of the chemical attack in that state.
