Iranian Majlis member and National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Heshmatollah Falahatpishe made the remarks in an interview with ICANA.
Falahatpishe said some certain regional countries have been defeated to advance their expansionist plans against Syria during the past six years.
He added Turkey not only is dealing with several problems with terrorists threats in his joint borderlines with Syria, but is facing with several crises in the Kurdish region of Turkey.
Prompted by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and some certain regional countries, Trump is repeating Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s mistakes in the war in Syria, Falahatpishe said.
Considering the cost of cross-border intervention, Barak Obama, former US President avoided from entering the Syrian conflict, but Trump entered in the war in this Arab country unilaterally.
He predicted that US undoubtedly would be defeated in Syria like Turkey due to Russia’s interests and presence of Iran in this Arab country.
