Boroujerdi: No Iran polling stations in Canada, S. Arabia, Sudan undemocratic

Tehran, May 18, ICANA – A senior lawmaker described the Canadian, Saudi Arabian and Sudanese governments’ measure for not allowing ballot boxes to be administered for the upcoming Iranian presidential elections as undemocratic.

Talking to ICANA, Chairman of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Alaeddin Boroujerdi urged the mentioned governments to reconsider their decision.

He described the move as undemocratic, adding that the Iranian nation would never forget such behavior.

The Iranian presidential election will be held in 130 foreign countries along with Iran on May 19, 2017.
