Ammar Hakim made the remarks in a meeting with Iran's Parliament (Majlis) Speakr Ali Larijani in Tehran.
Touching upon Iran's support for Iraq and other countries in counter-terrorism efforts, he added that the Iraqi forces have recently managed to retake nearly the full control of Mosul, the second largest city of Iraq.
Hakim underscored that Daesh terrorist group, which was trying to limit revolutionary forces, turned into an opportunity for the countries engaged in war against terrorism, since the people of these states had to adopt defense strategies and empower themselves.
Some certain states sponsoring the terrorist groups that wanted to manipulate them politically, are currently facing with serious problems, he added.
Hailing Iraqi people’s self-sacrifice culture, Hakim reiterated that the Iraqi people managed to overcome Daesh terrorist group.
He underscored that these achievements should not distract Iraq from other challenges ahead, highliting the country’s integrity.
Hakim added that Kurds, Shiites and Sunnis should live under a single flag in Iraq.
