Larijani made the remarks in a meeting with the visiting Lebanese parliamentary delegation in Tehran.

It is quite obvious that the axis and text of sanctions which were imposed against Iran and Russia stem from the US animosity towards the Lebanese resistance movement.

Larijani also congratulated the Lebanese parliamentary delegations for their recent victories in counter-terrorism efforts in Arsal of Lebanon which will remain in history.

Regretfully, Larijani said, some adventurist countries in the region seek to tackle the resistance forces.

Iran has no doubt to suppress terrorist groups in support of resistance movement and regard it as among its duty because terrorists defame world Muslims, Larijani said.

Lebanese parliamentarian Mohammad Raad, for his part, referred to the victories of the Lebanese resistance in the fight against terrorist groups and said the enemies front which had been unified is now suffering discords thanks to the resistance front.

Fortunately, the Lebanese resistance front is much stronger now and strongly stands against all challenges, he said.
