Head of Iran-Uzbekistan Parliamentary Friendship Group Ahmad Amir-Abadi made the remarks in a meeting with Uzbekistan Ambassador to Tehran Bahador Abdullaev.
The MP described the trend of two countries’ economic and cultural transactions as positive.
He added the ground is properly pave for expansion of all-out ties between the two countries.
Farahani also expressed the need for expansion of mutual ties in all arenas, economic and cultural cooperation in particular.
The Uzbek diplomat, fir his part, described the Islamic Republic of Iran as an influential country in the region.
